How do I get a Wayleave
Is a question often asked and often too late. BMT will guide you through exactly how you obtain a Wayleave and ensure the process is expedited at every opportunity.
A wayleave is a legal agreement between the supplier i.e. Openreach, and the Landlord of a building which dictates the rules of the fibre installation i.e. what route through the building it takes. It also includes insurances against damage by the installer, and give the install rights of access if ever the service needs to be repaired.
